Mark McGuinness

Director

Mark is Managing Director for Willis Bond which he co-founded in 1988. Willis Bond  specialises in in real estate investment, development and funds management in New Zealand.

Since 2010, Willis Bond has raised and committed more than $360 million of capital to fund 18 property development projects in Auckland and Wellington. The company has a particular focus on large scale mixed use projects. Mark is a Director on a number of boards including the Chairman of Donaghys Limited.

DAVID

David McGuinness

Director

David is a Director of Willis Bond and is involved in all aspects of the business, in both Wellington and Auckland. He is currently the project director on various projects including Site 9, Victoria Lane Apartments, the Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre and Catalina Bay Apartments.

He is also a Director of Compassion Housing Limited, and is involved in social housing, including a partnership between Willis Bond and the Home of Compassion. Previously, David has successfully delivered the award-winning Clyde Quay Wharf and One Market Lane developments and various components of the Chews Lane Precinct redevelopment.

Before joining Willis Bond in 2005, David spent ten years working in corporate and commercial law and holds degrees in Law and Accounting from Otago University, as well as a post graduate certificate in Corporate Finance. 

WAYNE

Wayne Silver

Director

Wayne joined the Willis Bond team in 1997 firstly as CFO of Property for Industry, and from 1999 as CFO and a Director of the Willis Bond.

Wayne is responsible for the successful financial operation of the business and its various projects – more than 25 to date with a concentration on funding – both debt and equity.

Wayne is a member of the Investment Committee and is the project director for Catalina Bay Stage 1 and Tauranga Civic projects.

Prior to joining Willis Bond ,Wayne held a number of senior financial roles in the local government, advertising and investment industries. He has a graduate degree in Commerce from Auckland University and a post-graduate finance diploma.
