Willis Bond formed the Property Income Fund (PI) in 2020 and concluded an initial capital raising of $250 million in November 2020. PI has been formed to invest in long-term yielding property assets.
In December 2020, Willis Bond acquired the first asset for PI at 484 Nayland Road, Stoke, Nelson for $50,514,000. At this site there is a long-term lease in place with EnzaFruit New Zealand International Limited (ENZIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of T&G Global Limited.
The property accommodates the majority of T&G’s post-harvest operations in the Nelson region, including its packhouse and associated cool stores. T&G Fresh’s domestic Nelson operations are also based at the site.
